Samsung will launch Galaxy S4 resistant to dust and water

The South Korean company Samsung will release a version of the Galaxy S4 device, resistant to liquids and dust, emulating the latest Sony, the Xperia Z, which can hold up to 30 minutes submerged under water.

Young Soo Kim, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, explained during a conference at the Armani Hotel in Dubai the company works to launch in “few weeks” a version of its new flagship “robust” water and dust proof, but not nothing has been confirmed officially.

The latest handset, the Galaxy S4, has again constructed of polycarbonate but the company could make some changes to get this feature incorporating the Xperia Z, but it is common in high-end devices. Samsung is also studying the possibility of using aluminum in the manufacture of its Galaxy Note III.
