Samsung has now decided to release two devices to form the Galaxy range, the Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5. These new devices have a similar design between them, counting both with a body made of aluminum unibody, according to the same Samsung; these are aimed at “young consumers who want to be practical and functional”.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 has a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels), 1.2GHz quadcore processor which has not been disclosed to the manufacturer, 1GB RAM, storage 16GB database with expansion capability through microSD cards and a 1900 mAh battery. In terms of cameras, mounted a rear 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and the front is 5 megapixels, special for selfies. The device as we mentioned, it relies on with unibody body completely done in metal, unlike the Alpha Galaxy. Its thickness is just 6.9 mm and weighs 110.3 grams.
On the other hand Samsung Galaxy A5 leaves up to 5 inch display, same with Super AMOLED technology but HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). It has the quadcore processor same as the A3, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage and 2300 mAh battery. The front camera is the same as the A3. The rear does change, jumping up to 13 megapixels with LED flash. This device is even thinner, since thickness reaches 6.7 millimeters, making it the slimmest Samsung terminal.
Both the Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 hit the market running Android 4.4 Kitkat with the familiar TouchWiz, also have support for LTE networks and come with the Samsung battery saving mode, among many other relevant software for Korean. Samsung has made in a variety of colors that are; Pearl White, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver, Soft Pink, Light Blue and Champagne Gold. The price has not been released yet, but is said to be round from 300 to 500 dollars.
