Samsung has officially introduced the new smartphone which has changed its name to Samsung Galaxy Grand, the new terminal of the company with Dual SIM.
With a finish very similar to the latest bestsellers, of the company as the Galaxy S3, and outrunning screen size, this terminal has little to do in terms of technical features. Besides the design, the only thing they share is the Android operating system; otherwise the features are rather low-medium range.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand features a 5-inch screen with a resolution WGA (800 × 400 pixels) and a density of 187dpi, really low when compared to the 306 of the Galaxy S3 or the 252dpi of the Nexus One.
The thickness of the terminal is 9.6 mm and which have incorporated 8-megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera and 8GB of internal memory. As for other features, the Galaxy Grand features a dual-core processor at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM and the ability to record video in 720p HD.
Samsung plans to launch this model in two versions, one with Dual SIM (GT-I9082) and one with single SIM (GT-I9080). Indeed, the weight of the terminal is 163gr and has ability to expand capacity with microSD cards.
Not yet announced anything about official launch dates or prices.
