  • by

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 Performance is the first tablet of the robust range of the company to arrive with Windows 10 on board and which has a 4K display powered by some very impressive components.

Toughpad FZ-Y Performance

The Toughpad FZ-Y1 comes with Windows 10 Pro, and it has a 20-inch IPS screen (with an aspect ratio 15:10) with a resolution of 3840 x 2560 pixels, for a pixel density 230 ppi. From this screen, it has a 5th generation Intel Core i7-5600U vPro processor at 2.6 GHz, supported with 16 GB of memory (RAM) with a dedicated graphics card AMD FirePro M5100. So excellent specifications for a device that can easily manage powerful CAD and 3D modeling applications.

A 256 GB SSD can store all your data. There is even an option to double the storage, and so move to 512 GB for those who need more space. For connectivity, it will have a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port and Ethernet, with a Mini DisplayPort and an SD card slot. There is also Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth connectivity.

We will find two cameras, one in front and the other at the back, both being 5 megapixels.
Resistant, but not heavy
Of course, being in the range of Panasonic Toughpad means that it is about a robust apparatus, resistant to falls from a height of 76 cm, and built to meet all your needs. It has a durable fiberglass outer casing. Despite being strong, Panasonic has managed to keep the thickness of the tablet to 12.5 mm. In other words, it is not too bulky when you want to move.

There is also a stylus Touch Pen in option that Panasonic boasts as providing the user a very natural writing experience.

As you may have guessed, this large screen tablet will be given. Unfortunately Panasonic does not reveal anything about its price, but the 4K tablet Toughpad FZ-Y1 Performance will be available at the end of December.
