Have you finally managed to Huawei reach the level of competition in the high range of Android? Can we consider the Huawei Ascend P7 as high-range in 2014?
At Mobile World Congress 2012, Huawei was postulated as a brand that whiles it was still green, in the years to come in his own right in the high-end Android. That’s what we all feel to see its Ascend D Quad and Ascend D Quad XL. Good screens, decent cameras, materials in the middle of flagships like the S3, power chord at the time, 2500 mAh battery compared to 2100 or 1800 rivals…
Still, not in love, could not be seen as Samsung or HTC, launched that year the great One X, wonderful finishes and better screen. Lacking customer confidence, and earn it was and is very complicated. Brands like Samsung only managed to eliminate their low-end image making large investments of money, and without them it had not placed its Galaxy range in the proper place.
Huawei, then, was a manufacturer should strive to improve their products to keep up with its rivals, but especially for its status and brand image, we know that in this world is everything. Because remember, until that time, Huawei was a company known for terminals with such a bad reputation as Selina, despite attempts to improve with better terminal presented as the U8650.
Since then, the perception we have of them is a company that strives to improve each year, but never makes it to fight for the throne. It is the typical of the company i want and i can’t, the company that even its most important aspects and daring are not exempt from faults. Now bring us the Ascend P7, a terminal considered “premium” by some, but is that true? If so, would you be worth to surpass rivals like the Galaxy S5 or HTC One M8?
