HTC’s own site confirmed that the name of the new flagship smartphone of the company would, unsurprisingly, One M9. The name found after looking in the source code on the HTC site where the HTC One M9 name is mentioned.
This is the first time the name One M9 comes directly from HTC, and this information also confirms that the company will abandon the brackets in the name of its flagship device.
The HTC One (M8) which was announced in March 2014 raised some eyebrows when the company added obscure parentheses in its name. But it seems that HTC has seen fit to let them down for this next iteration, certainly in an attempt to make the range of “One M”, a leading brand.
HTC site also confirms that the new product slogan is “One Life”, we will certainly see through the company’s marketing campaign once it is formalized.
Given the updating of the website, it seems certain that the smartphone will appear at the event that the company will hold on March 1 in Barcelona, and he will pick some pretty important flagship features, such as 64-bit chip at 2 GHz Qualcomm clock speed (Snapdragon 810), coupled with 3GB DDR4 RAM memory.
The Ultrapixel camera that does not necessarily believe in the One M8 should be moved to the front of the device, while the rear camera will be replaced by a 20.7-megapixel sensor. It should be available with two storage options, one 32 and one 64 GB. A micro-SD slot will inflate the terminal storage capacity.
