Galcon 2: Galactic Conquest has come for download on the Apple App Store, a story that will make you happy more than someone who had the fortune to try and engage with the first installment of this game now becomes crazier than ever. With an aesthetic proposal full of color and geometry in performance, reminiscent of some of the earliest arcade shooters of the 80s, but here with a progression in the extreme, even more than the first game, so the idea of Galcon 2 is basically as described in the video, to create a demolition derby in space.

Galcon 2: Galactic Conquest

Hassey Enterprises, the company of the good Phil Hassey was responsible for developing this production, which confirms the power and validity of Crowdsourcing platforms. At the time, back in 2013, Galcon was a game whose first release was due because he could obtain funds through Kickstarter, and now becomes its own foot thanks to its success, creating the final version of this franchise Galcon 2: Galactic Conquest, since now integrates a full multiplayer system, where users take sides as neutral or enemy planet since the beginning of the game, only to be thrown into this collective slaughter.Read More »Galcon 2: Galactic Conquest available now, free for iOS

Anime is the Japanese version of animation and there are many people around the world who like to watch this form of entertainment. Till recently the only way to watch this anime was if you had the Flash player downloaded on the device. With the introduction and the popularity of the Iphone and the Ipad this was not an option available to the users of these devices.

watching anime

Apple Inc. the company that marketed these devices did not have the Flash player app on the Ipad as well as the Iphone because it believed that the newer technology of HTML5 made the Flash player obsolete and that if viewers wanted to watch video it could be done by using the newer technology. So even if you had a good internet connection but happened to be using one of these devices and the anime could only be watched by using the Flash player you could not watch this anime.Read More »Watching Anime On Animeonhand.com

A 3D psychedelic racer with a great soundtrack.

return zero

Now I’m not a mobile gamer, I very rarely tend to play games on my mobile, I only tend to play games that load quickly and can be played quickly, completed and put down. Return Zero is one of those games that does this well. Being a racing game and also having a cool soundtrack and some psychedelic 3D graphics (which look very Tron-ish if you ask me), I gave it a go.

The aim of the game is to go through as many blocks of blue as quickly as possible, whilst avoiding the red blocks and other obstacles in your path. There are both completion percentages and timed stages, which need to be met to unlock further levels. The higher the levels you get to the more complex and difficult they become.Read More »Return Zero

Nokia 5800 multitouch

Jamie Fuller shows us the potential option of having multi-touch on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. As he points out, most devices still have single touch with the exception of the iPhone and Palm Pre (with the latter expected to be sued by Apple). So legally it looks like Apple has the patent for a certain type of multi touch technology, as we have seen with the G1 also – multi touch is capable but not included, so it seems manufacturers are holding back for a reason.

Jamie takes us through a demo on Youtube which showcases the shortcomings and how he has implemented the multi-touch into the 5800 via a DDR based game – note this isn’t done via an OS hack.Read More »Multi-Touch on The Nokia 5800 – Experimental
