HTC Sapphire 2.0

We have your usual blurry, poor quality spy leaked pics here of the HTC Sapphire 2.0, which itself can be found on the leaked HTC 2009 roadmap. Looking at the picture it looks very much to be the successor to the G1. There are key differences between both handsets; it’s slimmer, sleeker, does not have a physical keyboard.Read More »HTC Sapphire 2.0 to be G2 Handset

Skinny Phone

A simple concept design by David Turpin focusing more on the aesthetics of a skinny handset which seems to meet elegance and practicality pretty well I do like how the edges of the screen disappear into nothing, giving the illusion there is no other side.Read More »Skinny Phone

KDDI Cellphone

KDDI seem to be pretty busy recently designing new concept handsets and trying to engineer something for the future, and I for one like it, innovation is key to progress in my opinion and I’ll always route for those aiming to do the same.

KDDI cellphone

Here we have a KDDI music box cellphone concept and literally that’s what it does! It transforms into a cube music box – I presume when you play music etc. Looking at the pictures you get a graphical equalizer display on the sides which looks awesome!Read More »KDDI Cellphone

Bend Phone

The Bend Phone by Andy Kurovets is not only bendy (curvy) but also chunky and comes with a dual screen design aimed at utilizing both to give a better use of space. With these it will evidently become bigger and with the slide out camera it gets bigger.

Honestly speaking the concept is a good one using dual screens, much like the Plica Concept Phone, but some consideration has to be given into reducing the size of the device, it’s basically too chunky!Read More »Bend Phone

We have two designs that have come from this project, Leaf and Solar, both which look and do what their names say. The leaf is designed in the shape of a leaf with subtle white and pleasant green colors and a very nice curvy design. The handset consists mostly of plastic with an OLED screen embedded in a translucent case making it look invisible and futuristic.Read More »Siemens Eco Friendly Concept Phones

plica concept

Great little fold-able touch-screen design the Plica is a dual screen device you can fold in half or use both in conjunction as desired. With the big touch-screen it’s easy to use the on-screen virtual keyboard with ease, whilst also having another big screen to view other content on.

The designer is James Platt and the design is a very unique one, but can also be very practical. Reminds me of the Nintendo DS design, except with a much better sized wide screens.Read More »Plica Concept Phone
