The telecommunications company continues its battle to conquer the lower ranges of mobile phones. Throughout the summer the British company has been populating the most economical and affordable sector of the market with very competitive prices phones. A good example is the Smart range, which offers basic mobile services at prices that can reach hundred euros.
At this juncture Vodafone has announced the addition of a new model for the lower range. This is the Vodafone Turbo 7, a smartphone above all cheap, simple, easy to use and that reaches the five inch. A reinforcement for the more economical range of the British brand that becomes one of the smartphones with five inch screen more cheaply from the market.
A phone from all basic
The Vodafone Turbo 7 can present as extremely low prices thanks to which dispenses enough basic elements. And it offers a rather poor image resolution ( 196 pixels per inch); one pretty short memory of eight gigabytes barely allow the storage of the most basic applications (Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter …) and limited camera benefits: five megapixel camera for the rear and two megapixel for front.
Manufactured by French company Alcatel has a Mediatek MT6735M processor at 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 and only 1 GB of RAM. Its eight gigabytes internal memory is expandable up to 32 through microSD card. One of the most interesting features is that the Turbo 7 will already come with Android 6.0 (although the latest version 7.0 Nougat is already operational for months). Function that, together with its heart of four cores, will give certain fluidity to the device.
Obviously has an exterior finish in polycarbonate – Plastic but with a sharper shot. It weighs is less than 170 grams and has total dimension 14 x 7 x 0.95 centimeters. A phone of a relatively standard size, although it is a little thicker than usual.
As we have noted, the cameras are of five and two megapixels for its rear and front respectively. Sufficient resolutions to take photos in good light conditions. Its rear lens comes with built-in LED flash and opening focal length of 2.2. It is also capable of recording movies with a 720p quality.
Its battery is placed in the 2,000 milliamp hour and has the basic connections: 4G of up to 150 Mbps, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, FM radio through headphones and USB 2.0 port.
Availability and Pricing
It still has not come out officially what will be the price of Vodafone Turbo 7 in free mode without permanence. Although it seems fairly certain that will cost less than 100 euro. If it is opt for a payment funded by installments will have a cost of 3 euro per month with any fees, always with a stay of two years. It hit the market in two colors, silver and black. There’s no official release date but is expected to arrive in the near future to strengthen the catalog of Vodafone ahead of the Christmas season.
