Sony launches a service to find your lost mobile

Sony has announced that its application My Xperia, similar to Find my iPhone app from Apple, will be available “in coming weeks” worldwide. This app will be available for those users who have a family devices are launched between 2012 and 2013.

A few months ago, Sony launched a new service for their “smartphones”, My Xperia, which sought to compete directly with the service Find My iPhone. Although, initially, the service will be came out in beta version and only in the Nordic countries.

Now, after passing the test phase, the application is completed and will be available worldwide over the next few weeks, for any user with a device in the Xperia range of 2012 or 2013.

From the official website of Sony explained that the My Xperia is a remote security application that allows the location and protection of smartphones Xperia range in case of theft or loss. Once the service is activated, start using it is very easy. Just activate the application with ID of Google’s user and thus access the central interface.

From there, the user will have access to various features such as the location of the phone on a map, to lock it to prevent steal private information, etc. It also allows to information from the external and internal memories.
