Sony Ericsson C905 vs Nokia N95 8GB

A quick set of pictures with the new announced Sony Ericsson C905 8 Megapixel monster and the Nokia N95 8GB goliath.

One things for certain the C905 is definitely sexier.

Sony Ericsson C905 Pics

Pictures of Sony Ericsson's unannounced C905 have been found on SE4M forum. It seems to be a hotspot for Sony Ericsson handset leaks.
Pictures of this 8 Mega Pixel monster Cybershot handset after the jump.

Looks slightly podgy, but one would expect it from something packing as massive a camera as this.

Mobile Photography Focus

As I promised and am still trying to keep it. This week's Mobile Photography Focus is on my new Macbook, a very recent purchase and one of the many factors keeping me busy from blogging. Yes the Macbook and also my ISP, I am in the process of changing them as I type.
I'm currently blogging this from Over The Air event being held at the Imperial College in London during the 4th and 5th of April. So far it has been pretty intense and more on this will follow later.
But for now I will leave you with a few pictures taken with my Nokia 95 (currently on it's deathbed, yes it's getting old!).

Mobile Photography Focus

I'm going to start a new regular posting (hopefully) of pictures taken with my mobile handsets. I'm going to keep this once every week just to keep me in the rhythm of actually blogging regularly.

The posts will involve pictures unedited taken with the various handsets I get my hands on. There will be nothing special intended here, just letting out my photography gremlin within me I guess?
All of the photos can be found on my Flickr Set. This week's Photography Focus results are below.

Nokia N82 Camera Comparison

cameras
The second part of my Nokia N82 review is finished and can be found on Symbian In Motion. In this part I compare the differences in the picture quality of the Nokia N82 and the N95, there is also my Casio Exilim on hand to give some sort of 3rd party alternative.
Interesting to note, it shows the difference and lack of the N95's capture capabilities even though it is a 5MP camera just like the N82.

Leaked! Xperia X1 Runs on Windows Mobile 6.1!

Terminal.hu has just posted pictures of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. What's so special about this? The fact that it runs on the yet to be announced Windows Mobile 6.1.
Bloggers and Journalists alike were frustrated with the team showcasing the Xperia X1 at Mobile World Congress, the team were very "hush hush" about it all. Well the reason was because Microsoft probably didn't want them showcasing the unannounced Windows Mobile 6.1 Operating System.
All that has now been blown apart by these leaked pictures!

Apart from the OS exposed, there are some other features to be found; the Qualcomm 7200 a running @ 528 Mhz for one, 128MB of RAM and a 1500mAh battery (that's right Nokia, common sense).

Honestly, all the fuss about nothing! Did they really think they could keep these things secret in this day and age? Rest of the pictures below:

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 UI Screens

Following on from the quite intriguing hands on pictures and full feature list, I've come across some screenshots of the UI via SEFanatics. From the looks of things, the UI is designed and is similar to the Sony PSP / PS3 layout, which is not a bad thing as personally I'm pretty fond of that menu structure.
So far these seem to be nice and sleek, there are nice clear icons and the overall look of it is very modern and sleek. I'm intrigued on how Sony Ericsson plans on using the 9 panel feature they seem to highlight, personally I hope it only Wow's me even more.

I'll leave you with screenshots of the UI.

N Series Picture Special

If you've been following my posts on the N81 8GB Special Edition on Symbian in Motion you'd have seen the pictures special I put up on there.
Since I've got my N800, I realise there hasn't been any feedback, review or pictures of it from myself. This needs to be remedied immediately!
For one reason or another my Casio Exilim has come back to life. As I have had a pretty lazy Saturday I decided to take some pictures of all the N Series devices I have at my disposal currently.

There are far too many to post link to, but you can visit my Flickr account for all of them, or just use the slideshow below. So I'll stop talking and just leave you with just pictures. Enjoy!

N95 + Photoshop

As we all know the Nokia N95 has an awesome camera, but how much do you use yours to actually take some decent photos? I personally snap away whenever I'm out, buildings, landscapes, wildlife & flowers (not that there is much of that in the city) and of course various social events.
So how good are the pictures and what exactly can you do with them?
I decided to take the challenge.

It was a nice sunny day, long overdue and I hadn't got much to do during the weekend. Mobile9 forum was up to date, and the members where enjoying themselves in the usual manner they tend to do.

I popped to quickly snap a few flowers I noticed that had bloomed in my garden. So I took a few pictures using the "close up" setting, tried to keep as still as I possibly could and snapped a few shots.
Then I proceeded to my PC, synced the pictures and decided to edit them in photoshop and jazz them up a bit.

Only after I finished did I realise that I had my camera on the 3 Mega Pixel setting, well it was done so I couldn't change it now, and they actually looked pretty good as you'll see if you click on the pictures below for the fullsizes.

Warning they are pretty big file sizes!

Not bad for a camera with a phone, I mean a phone with a camera!
