If you follow my blog, you'd have noticed I have added a new feature on the right which shows my current theme I'm using on my handset.
I usually change my themes as I get bored pretty quickly, and having the whole of Mobile9's huge gallery at my disposal is very convenient. But now and then there comes a theme created which seems to stay on my handset for a while. In recent weeks there have been 3 themes which have more or less fought to stay on my handset for longer than most others. Mainly the Mac Tiger Theme which I have posted about previously, and as I'm going through a Mac phase at the moment it seems to fit right in.
My current theme is one by one of the master themers around the blogosphere now, Pizero. Recently he has had an upheaval on his site, a with new interface for it, which I think looks great.
Pizero has also started uploading a few of his themes to the Mobile9 Gallery, which I am delighted about, and for good reason too, there some benefits to uploading to the Mobile9 Gallery:
- To get the biggest exposure for your creative talents
- Join a unique community with the broadest and most widest range of audiences in the world
If you don't believe me you can check out the statistics for yourself from his Homesite. His New Gold Theme has had more than 95,000 downloads since he uploaded just under 4 weeks ago. But that isn't the theme I'm using currently, although it is one of the other 3 I mentioned earlier.

No the theme in question is his New Style theme, which is a mix of Windows Vista and Mac. So far it has had over 48,000 downloads and is my current theme. The style and colours blend really well, the theme is simple and functional and doesn't overstate it's purpose.
Available with the Custom icons or Generic icons it is truly one for keeps!
You can download it from either Pizero's Homesite or his Website which includes both versions and more goodies including alternative wallpapers, a press kit, and some transparent wallpapers.
