Samsung Electronics has officially announced the Galaxy Mega presentation, a “device that combines the portability and convenience of a ‘smartphone’ with power, multitasking capabilities and vast vision of a tablet experience”. The Galaxy Mega is available in two versions: one with a screen of 5.8 inch and another 6.3 inch.
Both devices, the company said in an official note, are equipped with Android operating system in the latest version 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and have a dual core processor with 8GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 64GB.
The cameras on both devices also unchanged. The rear camera is 8MP and the front is 1.9MP. The Galaxy Mega will be available worldwide beginning in early May from distribution in Europe and Russia.
The 6.3-inch model has measurements of 167.6 x 88 x 8mm and weighing 199 grams. Pose 3,200mAh battery and dual core processor running at 1.7GHz. It has a 1.5GB RAM and NFC connection. As explained from Samsung, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 version is designed for those seeking to better portability and, therefore, is more compact. It measures 84 x 162 mm and a weight of 182 grams and a 2,600mAh battery.
