On schedule, Apple has put up for sale in forty countries, the fifth-generation tablet iPad Air, available from 479 euros.
Thanks to a new design derived from the model ‘Mini’, the iPad Air makes honor to its name and which, thanks to the framework 43 percent narrower, 20 percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than the iPad fourth generation, containing some outstanding weight for its size 453 grams.
Size maintained in its 9.7-inch multi-touch Retina display with native resolution of 2,048 by 1,536 pixels. Its processor is the new SoC A7 of 64-bit dual core at 1.4 GHz which Apple offers twice the CPU performance and graphics compared to iPad 4.
Another improved chapter is its camera system with FaceTime HD front of new generation, with improved backlight sensor and larger pixels for better results in low light. As for the rear is iSight with five megapixel sensor and advanced optics, faster autofocus, video zoom magnification of up to three, photo zoom magnification up to five, better dynamic range and automatic stabilization of photos and videos.
More news can be found on its dual-antenna system for Wi-Fi that allows the use of MIMO technology to increase performance in wireless connections. The iPad Air also extends support to the broadband networks of fourth generation LTE.
Following the usual strategy, Apple keeps price level improving hardware and software since the Air iPad is on sale from 479 euro in its base version with Wi-Fi and 16 Gbytes of storage capacity.
Hence for up until the 869 euros for the most complete model, with 128 Gbytes of storage capacity and 4G. All models can be chosen in space gray and silver finishes and include the new iOS 7 operating system.
