Nokia continues to hold its conference in Abu Dhabi presenting its new range of basic handsets Asha 500, 502 and 503.
The new Asha follow the model 501 with a chassis topped with a cover of transparent polycarbonate and finishes in various colors.
The Asha 500 will be the most economical with a screen of 2.8 inches and a 2 megapixel camera and dual SIM option. The Asha 502 rises to 3-inch screen and a 5MP camera with LED flash.
The Asha 503 is the most complete, with the same screen and camera than the 502, reinforced with Gorilla Glass and dual SIM option. Asha will be the first to support 3G as the rest have the native application for instant messaging service WhatsApp.
With Symbian S40, the new Asha 500 bet on a very attractive price of 69, 89 and 99 dollars respectively for the three models. They sold this quarter on all Nokia markets.
