The shutter is kept short so that the camera module receives sufficient light in a short period which photographs are less blurry. To maximize the amount of light, LG has opted for a new structure of the camera module. It operates has doubled the size of the lens and added a lens with six layers.
LG Innotek has also started mass production of a new 8-megapixel camera on the front of the LG G4. This module is provided with a 0.11mm blue thin glass filter. The blue filter provides natural color reproduction because it can prevent infrared rays shine into the lens of the camera.
