iOS 6 for iPhone and iPad available on 19 September

During the presentation of the iPhone 5, the company announced the date that the new version will be available for download. As usual, Apple wait a week after the release of a new iPhone to offer updates and the final version of iOS 6 will be published on Wednesday, 19 September. As always the release will occur globally and the time at which the download will be released will be, if not changed at the last minute. The fact of doing a global launches often cause saturation in Apple s servers, something that happens almost every year. It is normal in the early hours is not possible to complete the download because of the huge traffic generated.

Install iOS 6 will now be even easier. Since iOS 5, Apple terminals allow you to download updates wirelessly. When iOS 6 available terminals notify you and you can upgrade from the menu settings – General – software update. As the process may take a long because the file is usually quite heavy, it is recommended to have at least 50% battery charge and perform the download when connected to a Wi-Fi network to do not consume many mobile data. Also the process can be made with the traditional method by connecting the terminal to the computer and iTunes software. The terminals are compatible with iOS 6 are iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, new iPad and iPod Touch 4G.

Introducing the iPhone 5 also took the opportunity to do a review of the developments of iOS 6 and, contrary to expectations, did not present any new features, which increased disappointment. The most important improvements are the new maps application, integration with Facebook, Passbook, new options in the phone application, Safari improvements, lists VIP email, video calls with FaceTime over 3G and the ability to share photos via streaming albums.
