We expected and the day has come. After its presentation at the Google I/O as Android L, Android 5.0 Lollipop is here, the mobile operating system that will come to change everything, to overturn the Holo paradigm and move to Material paradigm. This was announced by Google in its official blog. It involves, as we have said on occasion, the biggest change in the platform from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The update will arrive in stages via OTA (Over-The-Air) to the Nexus range, which is directly dependent on Google; while over other brands have to wait as long as manufacturers decide to take each of the devices.

In the case that concerns us, the Nexus, good news all around. The day of the launch of the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 is feared by the abandonment of the Nexus 4, but already we know officially that it will come. And we will receive two years after being released, an achievement in the Android ecosystem and best of all, if anything, even better than running the first day.
