Recently introduced the LG Optimus L9, the newest member of the popular Optimus line L of the South Korean firm. Now, we present a comparison with its younger brother, the Optimus L7. Is it really much more superior?
The L9 has a 4.7 inch screen with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (234 ppi), while the L7 reaches the 4.3 inches with resolution of 480 x 800 (217 dpi). In both cases it is an IPS panel.
In both cases it is Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but in the L9 is version 4.0.4 and 4.0.3 in the L7.
Processor, RAM and storage capacity
While L9 has a Cortex A9 dual-core processor with a speed of 1 GHz, the L7 is formed with a Cortex A5 single-core that has the same speed.
As for the RAM, it must be said that L9 has 1 GB of RAM and has half L7 (512 MB). To store data internally, both phones offer 4GB capacity and come with microSD card slot.
No major differences in the rear chambers of both phones. Both are 5 megapixel resolution with autofocus and LED flash, but it’s worth mentioning that the L9 records video in Full HD (1080p) at 30 fps, while the L7 only records in VGA resolution.
Both have front camera with VGA resolution.
2150 mAh for the L9 against 1,700 of the L7.
Clearly, the L9 is a superior mobile in virtually all sections.
