Samsung has announced the I7500 - an Android powered handset with a gorgeous 3.2" AMOLED touch screen! If that doesn't wet your appetite here's some more for you to drool about:
WiFi, GPS, 5 megapixel camera with Power LED, 1,500mAh battery, 8GB of storage (plus MicroSD expansion for up to 32GB more), and a standard 3.5mm headset jack.
That looks a lot more enticing and in keeping with the current market specs for most users' requirements. Samsung is making moves it seems on all fronts and guns blazing. Symbian, Android and Windows platforms will have Samsung devices, so it doesn't look like Samsung is hedging it's bet on any one of those OS' quite yet. But with the
OmniaHD already announced it gives users of both Symbian and Android a choice of handsets from a renowned manufacturer who is pushing the market forward and expectations too.
I'm personally on the hunt for a new handset to replace my ageing but still capable Nokia N95, and in particular I've been looking at Blackberry and Android, with the lack of choice so far with Android handsets emerging I was left quite disappointed with the progression in the market with devices, this might just turn out to be what the doctor ordered.
Consider my interest peaked!
