3UK have announced their first Android based handset, the HTC Hero boasting a 5MP camera, capacitive touch-screen, Wi-Fi and GPS.
I was on hand to watch the handset recently being voted "Gadget of the Year" at the recent T3 Gadget wards 2009 and also scooped "Phone of the Year". Whilst Spotify themselves scooped "Innovation of the Year" - not a bad combination is it? Especially considering 3UK were awarded the "Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2009," this then, is essentially the best services put together to give the user the best available services currently on offer in the market!

I think I'd literally kill for a HERO... (A small child or animal, maybe) Did you get to play with one, up close and personal like? Shame I didn't make it the other night - would be good to meet you.

@Sime - I have had a good play with it. It's a great little device, still needs more stable firmware IMO. But yeah, it's one of a few devices I would be willing to pay money for (not sure about murder).
