Nokia Build

Nokia launches the Nokia Build in the UK what in my opinion is a step towards being really unique but is miles away from being what it should be. I admire the idea that one could customise their handsets to any design. Unique designs is something which has proven to be popular as demonstrated by Nike with their range of custom designable trainers.

The long mile which Nokia needs to fill with this is to offer it as Nike has done, with their top of their range products rather than the low end, which truth be told will appeal to the style conscious and younger generation, but not the masses.

At current the Nokia 7310 Supernova is the only model this service is available to, but how cool and popular would it be if you could design your own customised N95 or N82 or E71!?

For sure it would be very cool, but why do you guys only talk about those 3 Nokia devices?? Isn't it more phone models???!

They sure do have more models, I'm just stating some of my favourites. But this should be available for all handset IMO.

I think mainly because they know those are their best models!

Yes, I agree, but tell me, why to create services that only a straight limited nÂș of people will use it??
I love mobile technology and S60 but I won't spend more a cent because they have launched a mobile phone which is the only one which works on this or that..

The point is: they should start thinking about creating these services for the mass, or nevermind...

I agree with you, it should be made available for a larger variety of devices. More choice and availability is what their moto is, so why the decided to restrict it to this one model for now doesn't make sense.
