Mobile Today revealed a £100 price cut on the 8GB version of the Apple iPhone. The "promotional" price will come in effect from Wednesday 16th April running until 1 June, coincidently the rumoured date the new iPhone2 is slated to be announced/released.
An O2 spokesman said:
'The special offer will make the iPhone an unbeatable proposition in the market, helping O2 to further gain market share.'
Unlucky for those wanting the 16GB version, it is not included in this promotional price drop.
This is evidently clear that stores are trying to get rid of stock which most likely will become redundant upon release of the iPhone2, unless of course you are a sucker and still opt to pay for that!
